Can Sales Library Project – Palma Center

Located in the heart of Palma de Mallorca, the Can Sales Library is a reference space for reading and study. In this project, we have implemented an acoustic solution with THU's metal louvred ceiling, designed to optimise sound comfort without compromising the aesthetics of the space. One of the main challenges in libraries and study environments is sound management. By installing acoustically conditioned metal louvres, we have managed to reduce reverberation, creating a more comfortable and quieter environment, ideal for concentration and learning. In addition to its acoustic functionality, this ceiling provides a modern and elegant finish, integrating perfectly with the architecture of the space and maintaining a harmonious aesthetic. Its versatile design allows for a balanced distribution of lighting and a greater sense of spaciousness. This project is another example of how Polivas combines innovation and design to improve the experience in public spaces, providing solutions that make a difference.
